Anna Salenko is a Russian‑born artist based in Hong Kong, recognized as the first palette knife artist in the city. She has spent 15 years perfecting a layered impasto style that cannot be copied.
Born by the deep blue sea, Anna fi rst picked up a palette knife at 20. She studied in Italy, then moved to China, where her scenery paintings were published early on. In 2018, a gallery discovered her, and her work expanded to Paris, Lyon, Amsterdam. She moved to Hong Kong in 2019. Her art has since traveled to the US, UK, and Australia, been featured in newspapers, and appeared on TV.
At a certain point, Anna chose to pause. She stepped back from the momentum to reconnect with nature and with herself. That pause didn't stop her - it clarifi ed her. Old goals faded, and a clearer vision emerged.
Now living surrounded by nature, Anna creates a new collection that blends landscape with human presence. She believes that nature heals what the mind cannot say. Her paintings are not just landscapes, they are places to pause, to breathe, to fi nd yourself again.
Anna started Live‑With‑Art back in 2019 from a simple belief: art belongs in everyday life. But the brand is not the story. The story is the texture, the stroke, and the person who stops in front of her canvas and feels something real.
That's why she paints.
