Anna Salenko, russian artist based in hong-kong, ceo of livewithart, teacher of her art style (palette-knives technique )

Anna started developing a set of fundamental skills for an artist while studying at a school of classical art in Russia. She went on to improve her skills in Italy where she got a degree in Fashion from IED (Milan), took up and completed courses of Brera Art Academy.

 Anna has been practicing as an artist and improving the technique of palette-knife painting since 2013. Her art can be described in the following words: PASSION, COLOR, JOY of LIFE.

The main aim of LiveWithArt is to share the emotions and colors of LIFE through various artworks and give lessons and workshops so that to spread knowledge about art and the palette-knife technique..

The collaboration between Chocolate Museum HK and LiveWithArt allows to exchange design and art experience as well as support current exhibitions in Hong Kong and Russia.

WHAT SPECIAL ABOUT ANNA’S TECHNIQUE :

All of Anna’s works are created in the Palette-Knife Technique involving special knives of different shapes used for oil painting. The technique gives her more freedom in terms of painting. Colors that are applied in single strokes make pictures look more atmospheric.

 Anna has been sketching and painting pictures for more than 10 years, showing everyday life as it is. She is inspired by the cultures of both Asia and Europe. By creating pictures, she aims to share the beauty of the world with everyone.

When painting pictures, Anna enjoys depicting a happy atmosphere and applying bright colors. In her paintings, she tries to show the elegance and beauty of the world we are living in.
