Ronny Po Majored in classical guitar and studied with the well-known guitarist Mr. Wong Man Kam, Christopher in the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Besides classical guitar, Ronny also plays jazz. In 2013, he joined the Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy and studied with German guitarist/composer Joachim Schoenecker. Ronny also performed in Taipei Jazz Festival with other international players.

After completing his degree, Ronny entered the Education University of Hong Kong and finished the Postgraduate Diploma of Education. He then started his career in Music Education, serving as a music educator in various schools, including St. Paul’s College, Ying Wa College and Sha Tin Methodist College.

During his service as a music teacher in Sha Tin Methodist College, he also worked as a conductor in the college band and choir and took part in different music competitions and performances, including the Hong Kong School Music Festival. The school music teams received exceptional results under the guidance of Ronny.

Under Ronny’s direction, the Sha Tin Methodist College Choir took part in the World Peace Choir Festival in July 2017. The choir performed in different venues in Vienna, including the Musikverein and the Headquarters of United Nations.

In September 2016, Ronny cofounded Aura Music Studio with his musician friends. It provides live music services and instrumental classes, so as to promote and establish music in Hong Kong.
