Ms. Suet Ying Cindy Tsang is a pianist specializing in solo piano and chamber music, particularly in double piano and piano four hands. She has served as a judge in local public competitions and has won numerous championships in various public competitions in Asia, including Russia, China, and Hong Kong. She has been interviewed by media outlets such as the Shenzhen and Russian television stations and newspapers. She has also performed extensively in Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia, St. Petersburg, and the UK.<\/p>

Ms. Tsang graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK, where she studied piano performance under Stephen Savage, a renowned British piano educator and former Director of Keyboard Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium in Australia. She also studied conducting under Mark Heron, Sergej Bolkhovets, and Dr. Po Kwan Law. She also studied chamber music with Antonia Koster, a pianist from the Notos Quartet, a renowned German piano quartet. Ms. Tsang has nearly 20 years of teaching experience and has obtained high scores in the professional diploma LTCL, the LRSM in piano performance (with distinction), and the LmusTCL in orchestral composition and theory. She has also taught piano to youths at the Royal Northern College of Music and served as an accompanist for the college’s music exams. In addition, she has taught piano in Manchester primary schools, conducted the English choir of the Manchester Missionary Society, and played the worship piano.<\/p>

Ms. Tsang has over 10 years of experience in ballet accompaniment and has interned at the Northern Ballet in Leeds, a world-renowned ballet company. She has also worked as an exam and professional-level accompanist at a ballet school in Hong Kong.<\/p>

Ms. Tsang was trained by Dr. Karl Lo, a distinguished local piano educator, and has received guidance from numerous well-known overseas and local pianists. While studying at the Hong Kong Baptist University’s Department of Music, she received numerous government scholarships and was twice commended by Prof. Douglas Robinson, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, for her outstanding achievements in music performance. Her students won 89 awards at various international piano competitions in 2022, achieved excellent results in the exams of the Royal College of Music, and were admitted to music departments at overseas universities.<\/p>

Ms. Tsang’s teaching is based on the teaching methods of the Royal College of Music in the UK, making the lessons easy and enjoyable. Her curriculum covers playing techniques, posture, music analysis, listening, sight-reading, improvisation, and music theory. Students can choose to participate in exams, performances, and competitions during their studies to gain sufficient performance experience.
